HOT AIR ENGINE WATER PUMP The Hot Air Principle was invented and developed in the 1800's to operate large coal crushing batteries to supply fuel to the growing industrial revolution in England. This model is one of Edwyn's latest creations and combines the Beam Engine technology with a simple water pump and will give endless hours of enjoyment to both the observer and the modeller. This machinist's kit is good for the beginner or serious model engineer, who loves a fresh idea in powered modeling with no valves, boilers or battery - just light the wick and your away. Has easy to read drawings with explanation notes to assist in the construction. All metals, fasteners, pre-cut gears and plastic materials are supplied. The pump is self priming with stainless steel valves for easy maintaince. The pumping beam is counterbalanced to reduce lifting effort. The flywheel has a diameter of 90mm, with RPM of up to 500.
